Tsukasa Yuzaki, also known by her maiden name Tsukasa Tsukuyomi, is the main female protagonist of Kenjiro Hata's manga Tonikaku Kawaii. She debuted in the 2020 Fall season where the show quickly gained notability for being a fluffy romcom that skips all the bullshit and instead goes straight to marriage as its premise.
In the story, Tsukasa is a beautiful maiden who saves Nasa Yuzaki from a speeding truck, after the latter becomes fixated on her appearance. She miraculously appears unharmed during the incident. Two years later, Tsukasa visits Nasa's home and decides to marry him out of love, adopting the Yuzaki family name as her own. However, later chapters reveal a greater mystery underneath the story's romance and slice-of-life moments, which implies that Tsukasa is actually an immortal being related to the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter. This connection is reflected in her maiden surname Tsukuyomi (literally "moon letter", and also the name of a Shinto moon god).

Besides the anime's fluffy romance content, Tonikaku Kawaii is also known for being created by the same author of Hayate the Combat Butler, a series which had a powerful presence in the saimoe contests, most notably fielding the ISML 2009 champion Hinagiku Katsura.
Tsukasa was the second seed of ISML 2020's fall seasonal, finishing second place after losing to Elaina in the main bracket. On that same year, she and her husband Nasa competed together in the second ISML couples/ships exhibition tournament. In that edition, only characters who have appeared in the 2020 regular season were banned from entering that contest, which meant that several popular pairs from 2021 anime appeared such as Kanokari, AdaShima, and Wandering Witch. The top seeded Tonikawa couple ultimately claimed the exhibition's title after defeating the Love Live yuri ship Maki x Nico in the final round.
Tsukasa also joined Elaina as one of only two debutantes to reach the ISML 2021 playoffs. Unlike the witch who went on to win the whole thing, the bride had to reach the postseason by surviving the final wildcard round. Seeded #15, Tsukasa was promptly eliminated in the round of 16 by eventual runner-up Mikoto Misaka, and later settled for 16th place overall.

Tsukasa was likewise a top-seeded favourite to win r/anime's Fall seasonal held in April 2021, but to the surprise of several commenters, she choked in the final against Nobara Kugisaki; her opponent's victory is attributed to Jujutsu Kaisen recently ending its second cour. Tsukasa met Nobara again in the Best Girl of 2020 final, this time winning the rematch and becoming the first non-seasonal champion to win that contest. Her debut Best Girl appearance will be at the ninth installment in 2022.
