Setsuna Ogiso is one of the two main heroines in Leaf's visual novel series White Album 2, and the 2013 anime adaptation of its first part Introductory Chapter. She is a beautiful, friendly, and popular girl who is regarded as the school's idol. Setsuna joins Haruki's light music club as a vocalist for his band's performance in the school festival and later develops romantic feelings for him. She also befriends Kazusa Touma, a prodigy pianist who also joins Haruki's band and falls in love with him, setting up a love triangle that forms the central conflict in the story.
Setsuna serves as the deuteragonist and the most important character in the narrative, playing a major role in all of the visual novel's routes. She's also known for being the "cucked" girl in the infamous airport scene at the end of Introductory Chapter, which depicts Haruki kissing Kazusa in front of her while she cries in the background. The anime version of the scene, which shows the pair turning around sideways for a better view of the kiss, became an exploitable image online.

Contest profile[]

Original cutscene graphic of the airport kiss scene in the visual novel.
Setsuna's only notable saimoe appearance was at the 2014 J-Saimoe tournament, where she beat out NGNL's Shiro in the 1st round before being eliminated by a Saki character in the 2nd. The singer also appeared in several nomination lists in the International Saimoe League, but in true White Album 2 fashion it's her best friend / romantic rival Kazusa who gets to advance near the top, while she languishes near the bottom, unable to qualify.
