Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo is a major character featured in the manga and anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a teacher of the school that the main cast studies in, and is widely regarded as the strongest jujutsu sorcerer in the world. Satoru appears as white-haired, tall adult man who usually wears a blindfold, which makes his hair stand up.

Gojo's powers revolve around "Limitless", which essentially brings the concept of "infinity" into reality, allowing him to perform extraordinary feats such as teleportation, time-space distortion, and near-invulnerability. His most powerful ability, "Unlimited Void", creates a dimension where he overwhelms his opponents with all knowledge in the universe.

Satoru's attractiveness and powerful abilities has made him the most popular character in the series. Due to appearing in the second cour of anime season 1, which aired during Winter 2021, Gojo was re-assigned to the International Saimoe League's inaugural male seasonal despite receiving the 2nd-most nominations out of all qualified males. He was eliminated from contention after losing to ISML veteran Conan and later to fellow newcomer Miyamura in the group stage.

With the series establishing a highly rated presence in r/anime, the jujutsu sorcerer debuted in the subreddit's Best Guy 8 (2022) as the 2nd seed, but fell short of the elite eight stage after he lost to Shouya Ishida in the last 16.
