Nasa Yuzaki is the male protagonist of Kenjiro Hata's manga and anime series Tonikaku Kawaii. His given name is written as "Hoshizora" (星空) but is spoken as "Nasa", which causes him to get mocked constantly. This greatly annoys him, so he decides to become "a man that no one will make fun of" by studying hard and excelling in academics.
One snowy night, after Nasa has undergone consulting regarding his future, he stumbles across a girl so beautiful that he proclaims "she's the only reason for living". But as he crosses the street, he gets struck by a passing truck. Fortunately, he is saved by said beautiful girl who miraculously appears unharmed. Two years later, the girl who saved Nasa's life arrives at his home where she introduces herself as Tsukasa Tsukuyomi and calls him her husband, thus setting off the story about their marriage and daily lives as husband and wife.
According to a description by the mangaka, Nasa is a very smart person (in terms of academics) but is also very dumb at the same time; and he also loves his waifu very much.

ISML record[]
Nasa produced immediate success in the International Saimoe League by winning ISML 2020's second Couples / Ships exhibition together with his waifu Tsukasa, which was held during the last two months of 2020. The exhibition was contested by characters who did not appear on that year's regular season and tournament of champions, which meant that couples from newest-airing anime were allowed - resulting in contestants such as the main two Kanokari couples, the AdaShima yuri couple, and the Wandering Witch yuri ship. Of course, the Tonikawa couple was also included, and since they were one of the hottest pairings at that time, they naturally won the exhibition. In the final match, Nasa and Tsukasa defeated Love Live!'s most popular yuri ship Maki Nishikino and Nico Yazawa.
Nasa rode this winning momentum coming into his first main tournament appearance in ISML 2021, only losing to Levi in Split 1, while in Split 2 he easily finished at 3rd, only losing to Sakuta and Ishigami. Despite initial strong results, his couples win last year meant that he is locked out of participating in exhibition gems, which he would've easily qualified and won. Nasa then made his first pendant appearance in the Sapphire period after he won all 5 of his matches there, placing 4th.
In Split 3, Nasa was placed in Group B, where the top 6 that will directly advance to playoffs (Riku, Yuuta, Ishigami, Taki, Kazuma, and Kiyo) is pretty much decided. Thus, he is expected to contest the 7th-10th wildcard round spots for a shot at playoffs. However, Nasa's momentum ended here as he quickly nosedived to the bottom spots after suffering crucial losses to mid-carders Sorata and Otosaka, and wildcard escapee Kousei. Then in Emerald 5, he got involved in the year's second tied match against fellow newcomer Kyojuro Rengoku, who also haven't won at that point. Both guys eventually became the first contestants to be eliminated when they failed to win a single match after Diamond 2 (12th round).
While he was eliminated as a bottom-feeder, Nasa grabbed his second exhibition award by winning the diamond ring over fellow award-winner Saika Totsuka, since the latter periods had less than 8 males who won zero awards.
