Mami Tomoe is one of the main five heroines of Shaft's anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica. She serves as the onee-san (big sister) of the main quintet, with the largest bust size to match. Mami has yellow drill hair and fights with elegance — using fancy-looking muskets and shouting Italian phrases for her ultimate attacks.
However, in the anime fandom, Mami is notorious for being associated with an internet meme involving her head, which arose following a certain major incident that happened early in the anime. [1]
Madoka Magica's immense popularity and influence in the anime otaku fandom, especially among Japanese fans, has enabled Mami to emerge as the winner of 2channel's Saimoe 2011 tournament, beating two Madoka characters in the process. She also became the first big-breasted champion on 2channel's Saimoe, since all other champions before her have either small breasts or "Delicious Flat Chest".
