Lancer is a character in fate stay night who is known for his Massive Gae Bolg and his tendency to job fights. He's also notable for several notable unlimited blade works moments such as his duel vs archer, and a later scene where he literally dies in a blaze of glory.
His true identity is the irish mythological hero CĂș Chulainn.
Lancer's best result is a 4th place finish in the 2018 bilibili moe tournament; you can thank the fate fanbase for making UBW scenes possible as he lost in a canon duel to archer in the consolation match. He's also a mid-tier contestant in the isml contest, and has come close to reaching the playoffs several times. in 2020 he won his first award by winning the sapphire gem exhibition round. not bad for the blueman.

To charge headfirst with your resolve â that is the way of the Lancer.
Before a battle starts or while surveying his opposition, Lancer prefers talking in open-ended questions that make his opponent doubt his or her resolve. Most of the time, he is able to get under his opponentâs skin and use his opponentâs lack of focus to secure a victory. When playing mind games does not work, Lancer immediately switches to brute force. Hot-blooded, short tempered, and quick to lash out, Lancer will do everything in his power to make sure his opponent wished he or she never faced him.
Outside of the heat of battle, Lancer is more friendly and approachable than most of his kind. A majority of his regular interactions stem from forming alliances should either need assistance in the face of a difficult enemy. Then, when it is just he and his aligned member left, all he has to do is strike at the opportune moment and emerge victorious. An enemyâs enemy is a friend, after all, and Lancer is looking to exploit this tactic as much as possible.
When the going gets tough, Lancer is ready to strike. It is going to take more than just a few bumps and bruises to keep him down.
