Kosaki Onodera

Kosaki Onodera is a character featured in Naoshi Komi's romantic comedy manga and anime series Nisekoi. She is the childhood friend of lead male Raku Ichijou, and bears the key that can unlock his locket. Although she has feelings for Raku, she does not reveal this fact to him, and becomes extremely flustered whenever they share a moment together.

Onodera is the chief romantic rival of Chitoge Kirisaki, and their fans have engaged in intense conflict against each other during the anime's runtime from 2014-2015. This "waifu war" is what made Nisekoi famous among online anime communities, a reputation which stands to this very day. Their rivalry extended to the saimoe contests as well, and while Chitoge has been historically more successful due to her main heroine status, Kosaki has managed better finishes than the blond girl on several occasions.
