Day 1

Emilia Emilia vs Sumi Sumi Sakurasawa
They may be soft-spoken, but their heart is brave and pure. Sakurasawa Sumi works as a rental girlfriend in order to build confidence in herself. Due to her shy personality, she doesn't know what to say or how to act around strangers, which normally results in a fruitless day. When she finally met someone who was willing to be patient with her and allow her to slowly warm up to him, Sumi regains her confidence and becomes more vocal about her thoughts and opinions. For the longest time, Emilia had to hide her face because of the rumors surrounding who she reminds people of. Now that her kingdom is searching for the next successor, Emilia takes this opportunity to show herself and reveal her reason why she is a suitable candidate. Emilia desires a world where no one will be judged by his or her appearance, and she will do anything to see her ambitions bear fruit. Who will be the voice that will echo its way to victory?
Kanna Kanna Kamui vs Taiga Taiga Aisaka
Tigers and dragons rage on as these petite, yet powerful individuals clash to see who the better competitor is. Aisaka Taiga is no slouch when it comes to taking matters into her own hands. Taiga is unafraid to speak out her mind, openly expressing her concern and disdain whenever certain actions and events occur. While matters of the heart are something she can't fight against, Taiga has a strong sense of justice and will waste little time confronting those who are unpunished. Don't let Kanna Kamui's curious personality and adorable physique fool you. As a dragon, Kanna is strong enough to wipe the floor against stronger adult men in a game of dodgeball. When not partaking in friendly duels against similar dragons and causing inadvertent collateral damage, Kanna spends her time with her elementary school friends, having fun doing activities for someone of her age. Will the roar of the tiger resound throughout the arena, or will the dragon's elemental attacks be too much for the opposition to handle?
Rio Rio Futaba vs Suzune Suzune Horikita
To successfully analyze a situation and come up with multiple solutions under pressure is a skill these two challengers have in spades. Horikita Suzune knew what she signed up for when she enrolled to that elite school. Although she is starting in the worst classroom, her situation only drives her to be the best and overcome her classmates' weaknesses. For Suzune, she will do whatever it takes if it means getting one step closer to be recognized as the top student of her school. Out of her friends, Futaba Rio is the one they rely on for insight of their odd situations. Rio can provide various scientific theories that may have overlooked by those who are troubled. No matter how difficult a problem is, Rio will do whatever she deems necessary in order to get the best result to make everyone involved happy. In this mental game of chess, who will be able to outwit the other and take that first step towards her dreams?
Touma Touma Kamijou vs Tatsuya Tatsuya Shiba
They were labeled as weak and inept, but when all hope seems lost, they step up to the plate to turn the tide to their favor. Although he is a tactical genius, Shiba Tatsuya was classified as incompetent because his magic powers were unideal for magic combat. Tatsuya makes up for his handicap with his superior engineering knowledge, creating gear that not only enhances his talents, but also those of his peers. More often than not, Tatsuya's upgrades have allowed his classmates to reach their true potential and help fend off all those who look down on them. Despite having a hand that negates magic, Kamijou Touma is considered one of the lowest level mages of his academy, as it lacks any combat potential. Touma makes up for this by practicing hand-to-hand combat and thinking outside the box. Touma has a strong sense of chivalry, and if there is anyone who is in need of help, he will be the first to jump in and save them, no matter how dangerous the situation is. Can Tatsuya successfully disarm his opponent, or will Touma negate his opponent's chances of winning?

Day 2

015 Ichigo (DitF) vs Saya majo Saya (Wandering Witch)
What does it mean to be seen by the one whom you care about the most? Because her younger sister graduated from the magic academy faster than she did, Saya became lonely and longed for companionship. A chance encounter with a wandering witch helped her become confident in her own skin and take her own pace to do what she must. Now that she has properly graduated, Saya made it her goal to try and find her guardian angel once more so she can properly thank her for everything she has done for her. As the leader of her squad, Ichigo does everything she can to make sure her team is prepared for any given situation. Still, Ichigo can't help but show a bit of favoritism, especially for a team member that provided her with her current name. Balancing the logic in her head and the feelings of her heart may be difficult, but if anyone can do it, it's Ichigo. Who will be able to stand on her own feet once the dust settles?
Tohru dragon Tohru (Dragon Maid) vs Umaru Umaru Doma
These two bundles of energy are ready to square off to see who the better competitor is. In school, Doma Umaru is the perfect girl sporting good looks, high grades, and a pristine air. At home, she prefers the lazy lifestyle, stuffing herself with junk food as she plays video games. When the situation calls for it, Umaru will don her handy disguise to breach various arcade centers and show the gamers who truly is the dominant player in the room. Although she is a dragon, Touru finds solace working as a maid and taking care of the person she loves most. Touru enjoys the little things in life, but finding out a secret here and there about her master is all she needs to continue working with a smile on her face. Should the need arise, Touru is more than happy to showcase her superhuman powers, whether it's cooking meals faster with her fire magic or saving someone via super speed. Can Umaru find the fight combo to get her first victory, or will Touru's unbounded power be too much for her opponent to handle?
Sagiri Sagiri Izumi vs Sora kasugano Sora Kasugano
Nobody loves my brother more than I do. Many people consider me selfish for wishing he would focus his time on me. Personally, I consider myself assertive. I know exactly what I want. I just want to be somewhere where my brother and I can live in our own home with no one bothering us. As long as I have him by my side, I can be at ease, I only want what is best for the both of us. I will stop at nothing to have my desires bear fruit.

I care about my brother very much. I've never had the courage to step outside the house, much less my own room. My brother has done everything for me, such as feeding me and doing household chores. Now that he knows I am his illustrator, I want to do more than draw pictures for him. I'd like to step out of my room and walk on my own two feet. It may not be now, but one day, I hope to repay my brother's kindness and patience.

Nagisa assclass Nagisa Shiota vs Edward Edward Elric
Don't let their appearance fool you. Behind their childish stature is a capable fighter. Edward Elric has always been self-conscience of his height, as many people constantly poke fun at his size. Still, Edward consistently proves to his foes that he isn't someone to mess with. With his unorthodox fighting style, quick wit, and ability to create anything without a magic circle, Edward can easily taunt his opponents into a false sense of security before delivering the final blow. For the longest time, Shiota Nagisa did not have any plans for his future, as he was always seen as a failure. An encounter with a mysterious teacher forced him to not only train to be an assassin, but also teach him various life lessons such as discipline and confidence. While not as self-conscious about his height, he does desire a taller body, as it would prevent others from treating him anything other than a man. Will Edward get the last laugh, or can Nagisa deliver the fatal blow?

Day 3

Aqua Aqua vs Chitoge Chitoge Kirisaki
They know what they want, and they will do everything to achieve it. Kirisaki Chitoge will not let her life be defined by an arranged marriage set up by her parents. There is so much that she wants to do that does not involve becoming romantic to a guy she has no interest in. Chitoge wants to learn about her classmates as much as she can in order to be fast friends with them. Because of her father's line of work, she does not settle in one city for long, so she wants to make the most out of her time in this new city. Aqua did not want to be stuck in a town with an incompetent adventurer. Her true goal is to live a life in luxury where everyone praises her as the goddess that she is. Unfortunately, to do so, she must start at the beginning and find her way back to her church where her worshipers reside. The journey may be long and treacherous, but if it means returning to a relaxed lifestyle without any cares or worries, Aqua will endure all the necessary hardships. Who will be able to find what she is looking for?
Beatrice re0 Beatrice (Re:Zero) vs Tohka Tohka Yatogami
Behind their cute exterior lies a power far beyond what anyone could have imagined. Yatogami Touka was always a curious individual, interested in seeing and experiencing things she has never done before. Touka wanted to be accepted by the people around her, not just as a powerful spirit, but as a girl who wants to get along with everyone. When the situation calls for it, she will summon the sword of destruction and rain down blows to those who try to take all the happy moments away from her. Beatrice isolates herself in her library, creating various illusions to make sure no one could freely enter in until she willingly allows them to. Beatrice can oftentimes be seen reading a variety of books in the library while consuming various sweet goods. When it is time for her to be serious, Beatrice's magical power can make even the toughest of mages fall back in order to rethink their strategy against her. Will Touka's blade be enough to exterminate her opponent, or is Beatrice's magic too much for her opponent to handle?
Chika f Chika Fujiwara vs Utaha Utaha Kasumigaoka
These girls have the people around them wrapped around their fingers, and they know it. Kasumigaoka Utaha does not wait for life to give her what she wants; she will do whatever she can to get what she wants. When playing hard to get was not getting her anywhere, Utaha became more daring and started to show signs of affection to her love interest behind other potential love interests. When it became known to her that her writing paled in comparison to the illustrations for her written works, Utaha stepped up her game to prove that her creative writing should be what others are talking about. Fujiwara Chika follows the beat of her own drum. Others have no choice but to be sucked into whatever tickles her fancy. If there is a game that her club made that she is excited to playtest, she would find a way to have all the members of the student council participate in it. If someone is having an issue with his or her romantic life, Chika would jump into the conversation to insert her two cents into his or her debacle. Who can smooth-talk their way into victory?
Kirito Kirito vs Archer Archer (F/SN)
They were never that interested in working in a team setting. They prefer working solo and going at their own pace. Archer was always an enigma, even to his own master. There are times when he is seen wandering about in the city, deep in though, as though looking beyond what anyone can see. Archer has a difficult time dealing with those who do not share the same viewpoints as him. However, once he finds someone whom he knows he can have a good relationship with, he becomes their loyal companion. Kirigaya Kazuto is normally a solo player, rarely working in any group for a long time unless he absolutely has to. It was not until later that he learned about the benefits of working in a team setting and what it feels like to be surrounded by trusted companions. Still, every once in a while, Kazuto will go out of his way to do things on his own and take care of things his way without anyone noticing. Who will be able to deliver the final blow after all is said and done?

Day 4

Yui yuigahama Yui Yuigahama vs Saya majo Saya (Wandering Witch)
In the end, one must stand firm to one's beliefs if one wishes to carve a new path for oneself. An encounter with a young witch reminded her why she wanted to study magic and become her own witch. With her mindset renewed, Saya now studies under the tutilage of a capable witch from the association in hopes to one day grant that same spark to another up-and-coming witch. Yuigahama Yui was always observing from the background, reading the atmosphere of her friends and collegues before putting her two cents into things. When she notices that her friends' bonds were starting to drift apart, Yui takes matters into her own hands and takes center stage. Behind her frozen fears lies a gentle soul who wants to get along with others, but does not know the means to do so. Because of her brother's student council status, Kei holds herself in high regard in order to match her brother's standing. Kei is not only strict on others who chose to slack off and do nothing. Utaha: Please, you still look and act like a child. You need more poise and control, like me.
Eriri: Well, excuse me, Miss Self-Centered. How about you tone it down a bit? You're like a predator.
Utaha: Sometimes, you need to extra... persuasion do get what you want. Not that you'd ever understand.

Eriri: Hey, I have a strong fanbase, and my circle has a lot of followers.
Utaha: I won't deny that. However, my books aren't as unsightly, and I'm considered a bestseller.

I dream a dream where I can wake up seeing his smile forever...
A place where we can call home and share our intimate moments in secret...
A home where my friends and family can gather and happily eat the meals I made for them...

Day 4

Misaki 2.5 Misaki Shokuhou vs Rio Rio Futaba
These two girls prefer to be in the sidelines than to be the focal point of any situation. Futaba Rio prefers the role of an advisor over a more active position. Although dolling herself up and trying out new cosmetic products intrigue her, that is not her main priority. As long as she is able to help friends solve the issue that is bothering them, she will be content. Shokuhou Misaki does not have time to deal with those that she consider a nuisance. Instead, she lets the people whom is able to control mentally confront with those issues for her as she watches everything unfold. Misaki prefers hanging out with those she is able to control, as she does not have to worry about anyone trying to take advantage of her. Who will be able to write the next chapter of her own book?
Kaguya Kaguya Shinomiya vs Mitsuha Mitsuha Miyamizu
They don't need to be seen in order to play an important role in her story. Tomori Nao can only be invisible to a person of her choosing. While it may seem inconvenient at first, this ability allows her to monitor the actions of anyone who tries to take advantage of the powers to do inexcusable things. Nao is able to adjust the lives of those who do not know of a non-criminal life for the better without others knowing who helped them get pushed to that direction in the first place. Hayasaka Ai can easily adjust her character and personality depending on the situation at hand. Because of her ability to wear different hats, she can make sure her master's plans can bear fruit without any outside interference. No one will know that Ai is the maid of the student council vide president, providing her emotional and mental support for the good and bad things in life. Who will be able to come out from the shadows and claim the limelight as her own?
Kiyotaka Kiyotaka Ayanokouji vs Shirou Shirou Emiya
These characters are two sides of the same coin. While Ayanokouji Kiyotaka prefers to focus on himself and his own needs, Emiya Shirou is more selfless and prefers helping others whenever possible. While Kiyotaka has no issues with using others in order to carve his own path, Shirou prefers to fight in an even playing field, regardless of strengths and weaknesses. Despite their different views in life, they share some similar characteristics. Kiyotaka may not be the most interactive person in his class, but he can still appreciate those who are able to give him respect and support. Shirou is able to find joy in seeing others react positively to the work and effort he put in to fixing any of their damaged goods. Who will be able to stay ahead of the competition once the dust settles?
Violet Violet Evergarden vsShana Shana (ToC)
Starting a brand new life outside of what they are used to may be more difficult than perceived. When Violet Evergarden began her new career as a ghostwriter, many feared she could not do so because of her lack of emotion or empathy. Working in this type of environment allows her to rekindle the memories and emotions that lay dormant during a time of war and turmoil. For Violet, writing letters help her see things from a different perspective and listen to stories that he would not have been able to surround herself with normally. When Shana took over the presence of an already dying soul, her classmates were caught off guard by her strict and stern mannerisms. It was not until an encounter with a boy caught in the crossfire that she started to mellow out and become easier to talk to. By learning how to relax in a peaceful location, Shana was able to show and feel emotions that were uncommon to her at first. Who is able to show that she could continue to progress in her new endeavors?

There were moments when she was conflicted on whether or not the decisions that she made were the correct ones, but she continued to persevere, believing that there is meaning behind every decision she makes. As though appearing once in a blue moon, Yuzaki Tsukasa saves a young man who was about to be hit by a truck. Tsukasa prides herself as a natural housewife, creating various cuisines easily via every method known to man. Her expansive knowledge of ancient history and her intimate remembrance of various historical figures leaves more questions than it does answers. Who will be able to showcase her dominance at the end of this match?
Mikoto Mikoto Misaka vs Misaki 2.5 Misaki Shokuhou
Mikoto: Ow!

Misaki: It still doesn't work, huh?
Mikoto: Can you stop trying to brainwash me? It's getting annoying.
Misaki: Nonsense. Don't you want to become one of my minions?
Mikoto: I'd rather you work on your trust issues than try to read my mind.
Misaki: Come on, Misaka-san. Just a little peek wouldn't hurt.
Mikoto: If you weren't so intent on figuring out what's in our minds, we could've been friends.
Misaki: And if you drop your whole chivalrous act, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
Mikoto: I'm just saying you need to relax more. Not all humans are evil-minded.
Misaki: Stop pretending like you know me. Aren't you tired of acting like a goody two-shoes all the time?
Mikoto: You're right; I don't know what your life was like. But, that doesn't mean we can't work something out.
Misaki: I'm not like you, Misaka-san. I can't be naïve all the time. I'm always on my guard.
Mikoto: I guess there's no way you'll open up to me...
Misaki: Nope, and you should stop trying. Hey, Misaka-san. Let's fight. For old times sake.
Mikoto: If you say so. The outcome will remain the same.
Misaki: We'll see about that.

Schwi Schwi Dola vs Takagi Takagi
Their curious minds will not stop them until they find the answers that they want. Schwi Dola had always believed that humans were the weakest race in their world. Yet, when she sees them continue to survive and cling onto life, she wanted to know why they choose to struggle instead of giving in to their weaknesses. So, she decides to spend some time living with them, understanding their practices and customs and what exactly makes them human. Takagi seems to know exactly how to foil her classmate's scheme in trying to get one up on her in some way. Still, she plays along with his ploys, curious as to why he would go to such lengths to try and get her to be out of character. Takagi enjoys these peaceful moments with him, knowing that these days will not last forever. Who will be able to seek out the answers she is searching for?
Kirito Kirito vs Kazuma Kazuma Satou
Despite getting trapped in their respective worlds, they treat their situations differently. For Kirigaya Kazuto, it is a means of survival. Knowing that dying in the game world is the same as dying in the real world, Kazuto is cautious of who he befriends and works with. Choosing life of solitude, Kazuto ventures the game solo, only helping out every now and again when the need arises. For Satō Kazuma, he immediately tries to figure out a way to live a cost-efficient life while making as much money as possible. Stuck in a party with questionable individuals, Kazuma has no choice but to be the voice of reason for his group. If Kazuma can life his new life without a single crazy event happen around him, he will be content. Who will be able to make the most out of the world they are in when all is said and done?

Fire and ice rain from the sky as these two champions collide. As the lovable sister, Itsuka Kotori enjoys eating sweets and spending time being doted by her brother. As the commander overseeing the spirit operation, Kotori is cold and calculating, doing whatever it takes to make sure that the spirits do not cause any collateral damage that would affect normal civilians. Because of her trust with her brother, Kotori believes that there is a way to capture and seal their powers in a nonviolent manner. At first, Yukinoshita Yukino deals with her client's problems in a strict and icy manner, believing that her way is the most efficient way to produce the necessary outcome. Over time, Yukino slowly warms up to other potential possibilities, learning to read other people's thoughts and emotions and reacting accordingly. She does not need to be absolutely perfect for others to still be her friend without any outside motivation. Will Kotori's flames overwhelm her opponent, or will Yukino's cold gaze freeze her opponent where she stands?

It will, however, pick a winner in the case of races being tied if the ISML does not impose a tie-breaking vote. The opinion by the Bedlam is that there must be a winner and loser to every match in the International Saimoe League.
