ISML Seitokai

The ISML Seitokai represents the Contestants in League-related issues and interfaces with ISML Staff. A new Seitokai is elected every Period. Members of the ISML Community can vote in the Forum during the break between Periods.

Official description

The Aquamarine variant of the ISML Seitokai Emblem. Seven variants exist, each representing a regular season period.

The ISML Seitokai (Student Council) was founded in 2011. It is a group of anime characters which serve as the figurehead of the actual staff that runs the tournament. The council's members are presented near the top of each period's results page. A new council is elected every period, which was done by voting on the ISML forum during the break between periods.

ISML Seitokai has its own ISML Forum account (presumably controlled by several people) for posting all threads related to the council. Their responsibilities involve publishing "Council Directives" (CD) or "Council Papers" (CP).

In reality, the ISML Seitokai is just another means of role-playing by ISML forum users, and do not serve any real purpose in the tournament other than aesthetics, since it is meant to emulate the common trope of student councils in anime, which either just fuck around and have fun, or are overly serious rulers with abnormally powerful authority.
