Eucliwood Hellscythe, nicknamed Eu (or Yuu), is a character from Shinichi Kimura's romantic comedy light novel and anime series Is This a Zombie?. She is a powerful necromancer who resurrected the high school student Ayumu Aikawa as a zombie to serve as her guard. Because of her strong magical powers, Eu wears heavy armor and does not speak, because even her words have actual effects, such as causing someone to actually "Die" when she utters that word. Instead, she primarily communicates by writing in a notepad. Eucliwood's mute nature often causes Ayumu to fantasize about her; this version of Eu in his fantasies is depicted as a cutesy girl in a visual novel-like setting, and is performed by a different voice actress in each episode of the TV anime and OVA adaptations.

Debuting in the Winter 2011 anime season, Hellscythe was part of a group of females who dominated International Saimoe League's Stella/Nova era, and made her best result in 2012 where she placed runner-up behind the undefeated Tenshi. She also won 2 necklace awards in her first two appearances in the tournament. Eu's presence in ISML lasted until 2018, and then fell out of favour among its voters in the years after that.

The omnipotent girl who acts as the center of the universe.

Unlike what her reputation suggests, Eucliwood, who prefers to shorten her name to 'Eu', does not dwell in a mysterious vortex of power somewhere in the tenth dimension. She can be more commonly found sitting outside a nearby convenience store. If one does not mind her universe-bending powers, there should be no harm in inviting her in for dinner.

Eucliwood is a girl of few words and a hefty appetite. It might be difficult to get a proper conversation going with her, but she is certain to remind her caretaker about food. Eu seems like a pretty pet just asking to be hugged, but she can get demanding or lash out in self-defense. Like some cats, she considers herself the master of any household she enters.

For added amusement, Eu's caretaker can also try to break her poker face. Eu has been reported to show signs of a smile when exposed to particularly ridiculous sights. Although the chances of success are low, it is said that something special happens when Eu shows emotion. Is it something good, or something bad? You never know until you try.
