Chika Fujiwara is a major character from Aka Akasaka's manga Kaguya-sama: Love is War. An outgoing, big-breasted secretary of Shuchi'in Academy's student council, Chika serves as the story's main "comic relief", being the primary subject of the manga's many gags and "breather chapters", and is the only main character to not be the central focus of any major dramatic arc.
In the anime fandom, Chika is largely famous for "Chikatto Chika Chika” (colloquially called the 'Chika Dance'), an incredibly catchy dance song featuring the titular girl dancing in rotoscopic animation. The song, which originally served as the ending credits sequence for season 1 episode 4, has reached viral popularity which has been spread into social media sites such as Tiktok.
In some anime communities like Reddit, Chika is believed to be the more popular girl among anime-only watchers (obviously behind Kaguya) due to her cute personality and entertaining antics, while manga readers prefer the more subdued Ai Hayasaka instead. Nevertheless, she forms an essential part of Kaguya-sama's three-headed monster which has established a formidable presence in recent saimoe tournaments.

The big-breasted secretary of Shuchiin Academy
In a metagame sense, Chika is a main player of the currently-ruling Kaguya-sama dynasty, making her a (chaotic) force to be reckoned with. She is a member of the series' big three female representatives, but unlike most trios the second -strongest spot is being constantly fought between Chika, who appears to be more popular with anime watchers, and Hayasaka, who is more popular among manga readers.

Chika enjoys diving straight into delicious topics that she is interested in. Whether it is food, love, or gaming topics, Chika likes to be a part of the action wherever she goes. If she hears something within earshot of a topic that intrigues her, she will lunge at it with all of her energy. Chika is also a perfectionist. When she sees or hears something that is even slightly concerning, Chika will do everything in her power to correct it. Whether it is singing, dancing, or sports, if she sees a student having trouble with activities she is naturally good at, Chika cannot help but push them to be at least average in the endeavor in question, sometimes to her detriment. Perhaps her greatest asset, outside of her figure, is her blunt honesty. If she believes something is great or terrible, Chika will not beat around the bush. Whether it is discussing a person’s chance of falling in love with someone or describing a person’s positive and negative traits in full detail, Chika will not mice her words about it. No matter where she is or what she is going, Chika will be the center of attention, whether others like it or not. |

. During her Seasonal Salt days, her tournaments inevitably ended with a Kaguya Shinomiya victory, leaving Chika to contend for the honour of being whipped apart by Kaguya second place instead. She lost in the winter semifinals to same-series rival Ai Hayasaka before getting her revenge in the semi-finals of the yearly contest.
Afterwards, Fujiwara quickly became a powerhouse in her first major contest appearances. In Best Girl 7 she easily reached the quarterfinals as a third seed; her match against Yui Yuigahama in the round of 16 gained notoriety because their fanbases turned to their Discord servers for additional support. She was then eliminated by eventual runner-up Mai Sakurajima in the following round. Later that year, the secretary secured the fourth seed in Best Character 5, defeating Krista Lenz by a close 13 votes before losing to eventual champion Edward Elric in the last eight.
Chika continued her dominance in Best Girl 8 where she claimed the fourth seed again, and proved her powerhouse status by defeating old guards Ryuuko Matoi and Mayuri Shiina to reach her 3rd consecutive major elite eight appearance. However, a plucky Shouko Nishimiya, who defeated Hayasaka two rounds prior, dealt the final blow for the series' championship hopes after being eliminated by a close 57 vote margin.
