C.C. (pronounced "See Two") is a major character featured in the Code Geass franchise created by the anime studio Sunrise. She is an immortal, mysterious, green-haired witch who possesses the supernatural power of "Geass", and can bestow this power to other people. She is responsible for granting Lelouch the ability to make others follow his orders through his eye contact. C.C. serves as an ally of Lelouch's rebellion against the tyrannical Britannian empire, and later becomes one of his love interests in the story.

C.C. made her first appearances during the 2006 Fall season, and has been a consistent fixture of notable saimoe tournaments since 2007. She appeared in eleven editions in the long-running International Saimoe League, making her only playoffs appearance in the 2008 contest. The witch is also one of exhibition gem winners during the tournament's Stella / Nova era, having claimed the ruby medallion in 2012.

C.C. is also best known for her appearances in r/anime brackets, where she frequently appears in the middle rounds of both Best Girl and Best Character contests. She made her best result in Best Girl 8, taking advantage of a relatively weak side of her bracket group to reach the round of 16, where she lost to eventual winner Mai Sakurajima.

C.C easily attracts the eyes of men with her exquisite, but cold and detached beauty. It seems nothing could break through her indifference. She supports and she betrays, always with the same uncaring expression on her face. She has lived through enough to distance herself from her emotions.

But even for someone like her, there is something pushing her forward, a goal she absolutely has to achieve, even if it means making endless sacrifices along the way. Will what C.C strives for let her regain her smile? Or is it something else entirely? That is one of the many secrets she keeps to herself.

On rare occasions, C.C's troubled past catches up to her. There are decisions she regrets and people she could not help growing close to... Those are the few cracks in her impenetrable mask. In her moments of vulnerability, C.C reveals a more human side and shows her doubt about the path she has taken. But is there anything that could stop her? Fun, sensual pleasure, bonds, love?

Or is there someone who can save her from the darkness ahead?
